Vamp was just a small shiba with a cape that was too big for him. Every night he climbed out of his coffin and watched the candles. Red, red, red.
One night he got hungry and took a bite. The red went down and something lit up inside him. His fur turned to electricity, his cape turned to light and he left the ground for good.
Vampires are supposed to fear the sunrise, and Vamp did. So he never stopped moving. Every morning the sun comes up over the edge of the world and every morning he's already gone, one horizon ahead and still accelerating.
